I learnt to sew on my mother’s treadle machine as a young child and haven’t looked back. I love working with colour, pattern and texture, making each item unique. Every piece is lovingly crafted and finished to a high standard.
Products include bags, key fobs, fairy houses, aprons, whimsical creatures and hand stamped tea towels. Machine embroidery allows me to add a further dimension to my work, bringing creativity as well as a personal touch. Stylised shapes and patterns are all part of the enjoyment of working with fabric; my most adventurous to date being a 3D dragon backpack!
My coaster are made using floor tiles, napkins, varnish and a lot of patience! Stylish and practical, there are many designs to choose from and new designs are always being added.
The lavender, that fills my fabric lavender bags, comes directly from my garden and as I come across new materials and ideas, I like to experiment to incorporate them where possible. So many ideas, so little time…………
